Common Laws

The Common Laws are a set of baseline rights, privileges, and standards that apply to all who reside within the United Empire of Earth (UEE) regardless of the representation status of their location. These laws include fundamental personal freedoms, safety standards, health services, basic education, a system to allow interplanetary trade and travel, jump point discovery and exploration, and an allowance for the existence of a security force to protect from external threats and internal crime. The laws were established in SEY 2525 after the passage of the Common Laws Initiative, sponsored by Senator Nomi Row of Cestulus (Davien II).
