Sunset Berry Bush

The sunset berry bush is a shrub that produces clusters of red-orange berries. Extremely toxic, the berries are tannic and have a bitter flavor, and can cause vomiting and cramping if eaten raw. If fermented, they become very sweet but are much more dangerous to consume. The bush grows wild in cold climates and can survive in most types of soil. It is susceptible to wilting if subjected to high temperatures.
